All of us are trying to make it through all this. All of us or almost all of us know someone who has died from it now or had it and it drastically has affected their lives. In order to survive the rest of the way through this (however long that will be) we need ways to actually do this.
For me, probably from watching movies growing up from the early 1950s with cowboy movies and you name it, often the survivor or survivors at the end of the movie had beards (mostly because since they didn't have food either they definitely didn't have razors to shave with.
So, when I look into a mirror during these times if I'm wearing a beard I think to myself: "This person can survive anything!"
And during these times starting out like this is a pretty good place to be because if you aren't positive now what happens if your neighbors and friends and family start dying of coronavirus? Where will you be then if it comes to that (especially with the newer more contagious strain of coronavirus that they have found spreading in England?) And whether these new strains are appearing naturally or coming from nation states like Russia or China we don't know yet for sure.
So, whatever you and I can do to survive all this we have to do now to prepare for whatever comes.
And part of this I find is if I have a beard when I look in the mirror now I can say to myself in all honesty; "This person can survive anything!" and mean it.
Also, though my wife is a very strong person mentally, emotionally and spiritually like I am sometimes she gets afraid when the news is really bad and I have to be strong for her (and sometimes she has to be strong for me in some situations too) (which is why we are good together in the first place).
So, if it works for you maybe having a beard unless it is too scritchy for you to endure and if it doesn't help you psychologically like it does me to survive these times.
If you look into a mirror and then think to yourself: "This person can survive anything!" then maybe you actually come out of all this in one piece!
