Part of it was I sort of got scared the night before we were driving north to get our first vaccinations. I kept thinking "We will be three hours from home. What happens if one of us has a severe reaction to the vaccine?" This kept me up the night before we left at about 9AM to get there on time for our vaccinations.
Then I woke up after going to sleep at about 2 am because I was freaked out and by morning I was just fine and my wife then was completely freaked out about everything but luckily I was fine. It would have really been hell if we both were freaked out at the same time but luckily God had calmed me down during the night.
Then we drive 2 or 3 hours across the Golden Gate Bridge (and that's another thing) you have to go online if you don't regularly go across the bridge or else you wind up owing 50 to 100 dollars in penalties because you can no longer pay in person to cross the bridge and now it's like $8.50 or something like this. So one way or another you have to go online (whether you can do computer stuff or not) to pay your toll if you go up and back because you are going to be paying $8.50 for going one of those ways whether you like it or not and whether or not you have an account with the people you pay the toll to or not. And if you forget you are going to be paying 50 to 100 dollars with the added fines of being late because they take a picture of your license plate when you do this (at least one of the directions which I believe it is south across the bridge). Some people do this every day to go to work either side of the bridge and so they have accounts that are paid automatically from their ATM accounts usually.
Anyway, the two comedians that helped me a lot this past couple of weeks just "laugh it off" are:
Lavell Crawford who is a tall and robust Black Texan and likely around 300 pounds who talks about being over 550 pounds at one point who is married with a family and 50 years of age. He helped me a lot because he is so down to earth and funny and southern at the same time. I found listening to him very healing to my psyche through all of this lately.
His show is on Showtime called: "Lavell Crawford: New Look Same Funny!"
Though I DVRed it from Showtime it's also on Amazon Prime:
