If you look at how many people have died now since Trump was president the 2016 article I'm quoting is sort of prescient

Recently people are reading this 2016 article I wrote and compiled. If you read it now it is fairly prescient because it talks about how many deaths would come from a Trump presidency. However, the one good thing he did was to get the vaccines going and allow them to be free to the public (at least here in the U.S.). But, beyond that most of the deaths from Covid have to do with the way he politically dealt with Covid in the first place. So, it is easy for me to blame Trump for 820,000 deaths (which likely 600,000 to 700,000 could have been prevented had he taken a better stance earlier here in the U.S.

There wasn't a lot more than he has done to slow the deaths down for Biden simply because of all the damage to worldwide democracies that Trump had already done. It's like Trump placed a bomb under our democracy and there wasn't much left for Biden to work with when he came into office.

Most of the good the U.S. did to build the United Nations and nation building Trump has destroyed during his presidency. So, Biden is trying to rebuild our democracy one brick at a time now. And trying to regain a positive place in countries around the world after the international damage Trump has done is no small thing.
