    Opposite:

noun
ARCHAICSCOTTISH
  1. a person's destiny.
verb
INFORMALNORTH AMERICAN
  1. induce a sense of disbelief or alienation in someone.
"blue eyes weirded him out, and Ivan's were especially creepy"

What amazed me about all this is the noun form which means: A Person's destiny in Old Archaic Scottish.

Also, Frank Herbert in the book Dune used it as "Weirding" as in the "Weirding Way" which also had something to do with finding a person's destiny too or creating one's destiny through various awarenesses or powers one could invoke or amplify in various ways.

My wife asked me originally how to spell "Weird" and I said I often misspell this word at least once daily because I try to spell it wierd so I reverse the two letters I and e for some reason. Then my spelling correctors let me know I spelled it wrong by underlining the word in red each time.

So, the original meaning was "A person's destiny which was a noun".

This leads me to my most famous truism of my life which is:

"Truth is always much stranger than fiction".
