I tend to be pessimistic around Climate change because of my observations of people over the years

The percentage of people who fully understand just how bad things are going to get this century and beyond is not very high if you consider the whole planet of 8 billion people. Then you have various peoples brainwashed by their governments in various ways so those governments can do literally whatever they want to.

So, when I look forward regarding Climate changes through time I see mostly that humans will not be successful in the way some might think they will be. However, much like how Putin was wrong about Ukraine and the EU and the U.S. things can often change seemingly overnight with the right leaders in place and the willingness of the people to change things somehow.

However, this also doesn't mean the whole human race goes extinct either, but it does mean groups of people will be dying from everything from drought to starvation to being literally blown into the next county on tornadoes and hurricanes and just heavy winds like the Santa Anas can be in California or the Chinook winds can be in the plains states.

Where I live in California we get these Santana conditions where the wind blows off the deserts and out to sea. However, these winds can be 80 to 100 miles an hour and often start fires because of the times of the year that they occur.

begin quote from:

The Santa Ana winds are strong, extremely dry downslope winds that originate inland and affect coastal southern California and northern Baja California.
