At that time Indonesia was a part of Asia but Indonesia didn't have ice all over it like further north into China at that time. So, a civilization that was advanced likely was there in Indonesia. There is evidence of this being discovered in Indonesia now.
So, because this area was a part of Asia because the waters were 120 feet lower than now in the oceans they were connected there as a land mass all the way up into China because of the lower ocean waters then. Indonesia as islands didn't exist then except as a peninsula coming down from Asia.
