I think a change of regime in either nation might stop the endless missiles and drones destroying each others nations. Otherwise, I see no letup (at least at present of the missiles and drones blowing up each others countries and militaries.
For example, if Netanyahu wasn't running Israel for his own selfish purposes it might stop.
Or if the system of government changed in Iran that has been there since around 1980 it might stop.
I don't think the people of Iran or Israel want this war to go on for decades or centuries longer as it might otherwise with people dying on both sides.
