Because if you don't like the job you will never do it right. So, find something you enjoy doing that gives you some satisfaction if you actually want to succeed at that job.
There are very few jobs I had in life that I loved. I think I most loved being married and raising kids if I am honest here. Why? I find children more interesting than most adults. (Especially in the 1950s and 1960s) when people were much crazier basically than now from the Great Depression and World war II. The Viet Nam War Craziness didn't affect as many people as World War II and the Great Depression which basically made everyone insane in one way or another and tended go greatly reduce people's lifespan generally speaking.
However, if you were born after around 1945 you might have been able to recover from all this even though your parents were somewhat nuts from the Great Depression and World War II but this is everyone's parents. No one got through these things okay. So, at least everyone was sort of nuts together.
However, you also have to see the 1960s as nuts and the Great Recession was nuts and 9-11 were nuts too. But nothing since has been a bad as World wAr II or the Great depression.
So, the point here is that staying at a job you don't like is only going to put some money in your pocket that you spend unwisely because you are so unhappy working there in the first place.
I realized early on that I wasn't going to be happy working unless I was working for my Dad or had my own business. I got really tired of people working me hard for not very much money. So, as soon as I could I started buying or creating my own businesses from Scratch.
Of course most people have to be late 20s or later to succeed and to wear enough hats to be successful at this in all ways.
However, if you have a mentor or several mentors who are wise then you might get a business working younger too.
But, never stay long at something you hate to do. It just won't serve you or serve anyone else either. IF you stay at something you hate you are ruining your life and likely other lives as well.
