Religious Shunning often kills millions worldwide

I myself dealt with this from 1969 until 1973 when I got together with my 1st wife and had a son. Then I had to give up being upset about things and stay alive for my wife and son. I have been okay ever since.

When I was watching SNL 50 and I saw Aubrey Plaza introduce Myley Cyrus and Britney Howard play one of the most amazing versions of "Nothing compares to you" it reminded me of my near death experience from 1969 to 1973 because Aubrey Plaza's husband just committed suicide.

I almost couldn't recognize Aubrey Plaza because I could see it really messed her up as she introduced Miley Cyrus and Britney Howard Musical performance on SNL 50.

I just wanted to share that I overcame shunning by realizing that I couldn't harm myself because I couldn't do this to my parents and friends and relatives. So, I literally stayed alive from 1969 to 1973 by staying alive for others while I re-evaluated my whole belief system and re-engineered myself into who I decided I wanted to be. This is no easy thing.

But, by my early 30s I was amazingly happy and I haven't felt suicidal since my son was born in 1974 ever.

In fact, I refused to die when my youngest daughter was 2 1/2 when most people would have died. It was very hard to stay alive in 1998 and 1999. And at that time every person I heard of in California who had a heart virus like I had died. So, going through feeling suicidal from 1969 to 1973 healed thinking that way ever since and I'm now 76 years old.

So, if you are going through something awful in your life just remember I survived 1969 to1973 by staying alive only for others.

It didn't mean I didn't have many girlfriends but even then I stayed alive for my girlfriends in my early 20s too until my son was coming and born and then I had to stop thinking about my own needs and live on to raise my son right.

By God's Grace
