The Severance packages offered to Government employees if they quit isn't really allowed by U.S. Laws at all

 So, musk has no authority and neither does Trump to make these government severance packages viable.

The likely result is that if Government employees accept these severance packages that they will not only be without a job but also without any money to try and get a new one too.

So, basically the severance packages offered to government employees is a Lie not backed up by the Federal Government which could destroy completely government workers and their families this year.

The Congress might be able to grant such severance packages (but who knows if or when they would).

So, basically at least for now these severance packages are bogus and a lie (much like the severance packages promised by Musk to Twitter employees when their jobs ended too.
