this actually makes a lot of sense because of Musk's paranoia about humans here on earth.
However, I too share the fear that humans could easily die of overpopulation, especially now.
And it also is true that one of the ways that planets have dealt with overpopulation of humanoids before is the colonizing other planets.
It's similar to if you lived on an island only so many people could live there and survive so another planet is like some people moving to another (island in space) just like sailing to another island on earth would work to solve overpopulation problems on any one island.
But, what i think Musk is talking about is White Babies need to be born mostly too because he only seems to consider white people to be intelligent so his baby making thing where he is impregnating all sorts of women at this point in his life is about him spreading his type of intelligence through other rightist white women whenever he can.
