Even though Trump and Hegseth are guilty of War Crimes I think they are trying to throw an Admiral under the bus instead

 It sounds just like by Trump and Hegseth, "Make a supreme mess and kill people" and then throw someone else under the bus who is just an underling to suffer instead of them for the blame. This is so true to form for both of them.
