Lately, (Since Trump was inaugurated) it seems like lawlessness and a lack of Democracy is happening and racist ideas (kill everyone not WASP) (white Anglo Saxon Protestant) seems to be the law of the land with Trump as president.
On one level I suppose this was to be expected at some point simply because whenever there is progress some people are going to fight progress. So, a lot of the progress (especially since the 1950s) has been wiped out by crazy people around Trump and Trump himself.
This is the most incredibly incompetent Government I have ever seen of either party since I was born. The level of incompetence is basically impossible for most of us to even believe that it could be happening here in the U.S.
However, when even Majorie Taylor Greene turns against Trump for betraying his base economically you can know for sure that Trump's days are numbered as President or as any kind of leader here in the U.S.
Trump is demonstrating his senility (sort of like Biden did) every day now in the complete incompetence of his government to accomplish ANYTHING useful for the American People or the world at this point.
This is a Grifter President whose motivation is ONLY to make money for himself, his friends and his family and nothing else.
So, I think his days as president are numbered at this point.
It's hard to imagine things getting worse than they are now.
It reminds me of a joke when I was growing up:
"Friends said: "Cheer up things could be worse!"
And sure enough "I cheered up and things got worse."
I think unless people find useful ways to fight what is going on in our government and what is wrong with Trump and his Grifters that our democracy might be lost soon and maybe forever.
It isn't a violent fight that is needed it is a concerted effort to find ways to end the Trump mess and to move on from here to something better.
the question is: "How can we get our Democracy back in as useful and efficient way as possible?"
Answering this question non-violently is the solution to most of our problems now.
