I think both what Hamas did and what Israel has done were not right and will not create peace. The only way to peace would have been a Two State Solution. Now the likely result will be terrorist actions against Israel and all people who allowed Gaza Genocide to happen worldwide. I think there is no way to stop this now as long as there are people willing to die to get revenge against everyone who allowed the genocide of Gazans to continue by Israel.
I think there will be hell to pay for what Israel has done to Gaza and for what Hamas has done to Israel and all the prisoners that died in custody like dogs or worse being raped, tortured and God only knows what happened to them as they died one by one over several years in Gaza.
There are NO winners here only Losers in this situation worldwide ongoing for however long people are upset about all these things and more for decades to come. This is what happens often in the Middle East in these kinds of situations.
It reminds me of U.S. Gangs machine gunning each other over grudges more than anything else. Of young people wiping each other out because they are members of one gang or another. That's what this reminds me of the most.
And it never ends no matter what anyone does to stop it.
