Because without it there might be no reason to why you do anything and this greatly reduces human lifespans not being reasonable.
For example, without my learning the Scientific Method by age 9 or 10 I likely wouldn't even be alive right now. I would be dead already like most people I have known in my life since I was born around 1950.
The point is that breaking EVERYTHING down into Hypotheses, Theories and Laws allows a person to navigate like like a sextant for sailing a ship across a vast ocean.
If you don't know where you are you likely aren't going anywhere either in life.
So, learning to know where you are (relatively speaking) is necessary to get anywhere at all in life that is useful to your long term survival.
From my personal point of view there are two types of people.
People who die young because they are not adaptable
And people who are adaptable and move around the world to places where they can survive better.
So, the Scientific Method of how you ask questions and how you define reality helps you to survive when many others will not worldwide.
1. Hypotheses: A hypothesis is an idea that might be true.
2. Theory: a Theory is something that likely could be true.
3. Law: A Law is something that is absolutely true (until proven otherwise sometimes).
So, I have thousands of hypotheses
I have hundreds of Theories
But I only have a Few Laws which could also change to Theories or Hypotheses given more evidence.
This is a more scientific approach to life where you likely can survive better anything that comes here on earth or beyond.
