I was watching a car go through a guardrail in the snow in the last article video and it reminded me of an incident I was in around Winter of 1966 in Denver

I was 18 years old and the "I AM" Conclave and pageant was canceled in Mt. Shasta that year because of the Riots somewhere (maybe Chicago) so the meeting of teenagers and adults in Mt. Shasta at Shasta Springs didn't happen that year so I missed everyone. So, my girlfriend at that time and I took a plane ride to Chicago where a winter Church Conference was happening. However, on the way back I flew back standby with her older brother who was a friend of mine as my girlfriend at that time did something else.

So, we landed in Denver to visit the "I AM" Sanctuary there. We had both been Graduates of the "I AM" School as high school Seniors so we knew people in our church from all over the U.S. and Canada and Australia and New Zealand and Europe.

We rented a Chevrolet Impala I think that was white as he was old enough to do this which I think then was only 21 years old. So, it's snowing there and neither one of us at this point I don't think had driven a car in the snow because we both Grew up mostly in Los Angeles County (my girlfriend too which was his sister).

So, everything was find until we came off the freeway at slightly too fast a speed but we didn't know this yet. So, as we tried to turn off the freeway the guardrail suddenly hit the front of the rented Chevy Impala so we were able to get onto the street below and sort of keep on going. However, I wasn't driving either. But, the previous video reminded me a lot of going through a metal Guardrail with my friend from Church with him driving.

Would this have happened if I had been driving? Not sure.

But, this got me to LEARN to drive in the snow over the years after that. I didn't want to have that experience myself with me driving.
