Limiting Screen Time for children is not enough?

I agree with this title by the way. However, I find screen time sort of addicting myself. However, I'm 77 years old and know how to function without any screen time at all because home computers didn't even exist until I bought my first one in 1978 and I didn't buy my 2nd one until 1987 which was an AT Computer. In 1988 I would have been 40 years old then and I had lived 5 years with my children in an A-Frame home I built myself with my father and friends where I home schooled my older children for those 5 years. The point is: "I lived without electricity. Without plumbing (except for a toilet over the septic tank that I had to bring in a bucket of water to flush myself from a stream on the land. I lived with no phone of any kind within 10 miles of where I lived not even a public phone from 1980 to 1985.

So, living without any computer or cell phone of any kind is pretty easy for me. However, now that I'm retired I like to write because it keeps my mind active and I have a lot of wisdom to share just having lived to be 77 years old in the first place.

But, the problem as I see it is if your children spend on their time on screens and no time outside riding a bicycle or spending time with their friends, then this is too much time on screens where that is social media or Computer gaming.

The problem is never meeting anyone you want to date ever because you live in a surreal world that doesn't really exist except in your mind.

We have bodies here on earth and unless we use them often we are lost and our whole lifetime is lost and we have done nothing that we really wanted to do ever.

Living in a Cyber world if that is all you have is not enough to sustain life in a physical body.

I had a similar experience in some ways when I was given Soul Travel by Archangel Gabriel and I traveled the Galaxy and all over earth a lot.

Then one day I realized that if I didn't take better care of my physical body that I was going to die soon and that God had Given me this body for a purpose and I needed to go discover what that purpose was.

Because of this change in me I'm still alive at 77 years old and have traveling physically all over the world and met people in many different countries and made friends or acquaintances with them.

You cannot do any of this if you are plugged into a screen 24-7 at all.

You might as well just be asleep 24 hours a day instead, it might be much more useful than being online only if that is all you do.

By God's Grace
