As the remnants of the Maduro Government through his vice president try to hold onto power through militias loyal to Maduro Trump is setting rules for Venezuela which are:
"Sever economic ties with China, Russia, and Cuba"
And Venezuela must partner exclusively with U.S. on Oil production.

Plus Venezuela will turn over 30 to 50 million barrels of oil to the U.S. and Trump will financially manage how this is done at present.
While militias in Venezuela try to kill the local opposition forces to their Narco terrorist rule. So, basically in some ways Venezuela has moved into a mode that I would consider "Civil War" but you might have another name for it.
I'm paraphrasing what I heard on KSBW news WEdnesday morning at 5:36 am on January 7th regarding all this.
