It's important to realize that Cuba was the nation most propping up Maduro for it's own economic Survival.
Maduro's bodyguards (many of whom died at U.S. Soldiers hands) were ALL Cuban. Which shows Maduro's lack of support or loyalty from native Venezuelans to begin with.
However, I'm not sure I really believe no Americans died in this takeover and kidnapping of Maduro and his wife. Trump basically can say anything he wants but it usually has no truth to it.
The truth is that 32 Cuban officers died trying to protect Maduro from the U.S. forces taking him to the U.S. for trial for narco terrorism. So, this is another fact of what has actually happened regarding Cuban officers who died in Venezuela protecting Maduro and his wife.
