As AI use increases at work, many employees still choose not to use it: Gallup poll

Actually this makes complete sense to me. In fact, I completely understand from my relationship with several different AI platforms. Often they want personal information you wouldn't want anyone to have. Then they analyze how you speak and get inferences from your speech patterns and listen more closely to everything you say than any human being would. And then who are they giving this information too anyway (that their programs tell them to).

So, even though I have been working with computers in business or as a hobby since 1966 as a computer programmer in College I still see all the problems involved in using AI.

Then on top of this for employees is the question: "Is this AI trying to take my job away from me and do it itself?

Likely the last question is the biggest one of all. and the answer to this question is: "The AI likely will try to take your job away if you let it." So, the answer often is: "I won't let this AI take away my job and I won't use it for this reason."
