In other words will the whole crew die within a few years and all their hair fall out because of extreme radiation from the sun which is at it's peak right now. So, in this sense they are guinea pigs in a science experiment and all of them could be dead in 10 years or sooner from radiation exposure at this level from the sun. We are much more protected here on earth and so we don't usually die from solar radiation during Solar Maximums like right now. However, let's watch and see if the astronauts hair starts falling out and then they die from all of this. Or "Will the government try to cover all this up and hide it from the public just like it has hid everything else like UFOs since 1947?"
Actually, this article is about the heat Shields and that's what they are concerned about or not concerned about. However, it is also true that they were probably exposed to more radiation while circling the moon than any previous astronauts (because of the Solar Maximum the sun is presently in). So, whether they die soon or not it will help people decide about whether people can survive a trip to mars too!
