Midwives sue to challenge Georgia laws restricting their ability to practice

Having a midwife for childbirth is often a much more comfortable and calming way to have a child which goes down through the centuries for thousands and thousands of years.

However, unless special help is available in emergencies the baby or mother might also die.

So, I think ideally these days having a midwife for comfort and to have a more spiritual and rewarding experience is good as long as you have a way to deal with what happens the 10% of the time something serious comes up to deal with?

Because if you aren't prepared for potential problems then you and your baby might be dead or one of you dead and the midwife or midwives are going to be alive to face the consequences of all of this.

So, having a useful plan if something goes wrong might be important when considering all of this.
