I was listening to CNN yesterday and they were interviewing a man who had intereviewed the man who had thrown the molotov Cocktail against Altman's house (who is a big wig in AI by the way).
And he had asked this man now charged with attempted murder of Altman whether he believed killing Altman would be useful. The man said, "NO" in the interview.
So, this man runs an anti-AI forum of people upset or disgruntled regarding AI. However, he also said that people realize that humans might live 200 to 300 years because of medical breakthroughs because of AI too.
He also mentioned something called "AGI" which I will look up on line for you too now.
