Trump is thinking he is dealing with 21st century people. He is NOT. He is dealing with 11th century Martyrs prepared to die for their beliefs just like the ayatollah was. IN fact, he expected to die when Trump attacked because then he could be a motivating Martyr to the Iranian Shia Muslims.
You might compare Shia Zealots to the taliban more effectively who are also 11th century zealots as well.
You are not dealing with anyone who thinks like a European or Canadian or American or Austrailian or new Zealander at all. You are dealing with 11th century Zealots preparing to die for their beliefs and that's all.
So, threatening to blow up all bridges and power generation facilities is just going to piss them off more and that's all especially if he does this war crime comparable to Putin in Ukraine.
