I was watching a video about this car by an owner and he had the car up on a hydraulic lift so you could see underneath it. The single front wheel steers the thing so it can make really sharp turns at really slow speeds even sharper than most 4 wheel drives in the world which is saying something. The front wheel turns the car and it has as you can see rear-wheel drive. I was thinking it would actually make sense to make a three wheeled car rear wheel drive just for stability plus putting power to a single front wheel might be difficult to do too, effectively in a practical way.
It is classified as a motorcycle I believe in England so if you have a large motorcycle license in England you can legally drive one. It has I think around 700 to 800 CC like a medium sized motorcycle also slightly more CCs than my 2009 KLR 650 had until I gave it to a friend last summer because I couldn't lift it because of a hernia anymore. I wasn't supposed to lift then over 40 pounds without injuring myself.
However, it is true that since I was allowed to have the present robotic hernia surgery from the best surgeon of that type on the west coast that might not be true within the next year. I'm already not having to wear a hernia belt most of the time already and the operation was about one month ago now as well.
So, the Reliant Robin is an interesting vehicle indeed sort of like having a three wheel enclosed motorcycle in some ways. They said it was the 2nd most popular Fiberglass vehicle 2nd only to the Chevrolet Corvette in popularity. I found that pretty interesting in itself.
