I was surprised to learn yesterday that the snow pack of Sierras and even Mt. Shasta which is in the Southern Cascades is only about 18% of normal. This is going to be quite a ride for California likely in late summer and fall trying to get enough water until the next rains. 2nd worst snowpack conditions for April since 1950.
