The US has developed LUCAS which is similar to the Shahed Drone that Iran and Russia are using to win the war in Iran by blowing up middle Eastern oil fields and refineries

However, we aren't building as many of them as Russia and Iran are yet. However, just expect this drone war to expand into Europe and the U.S. likely next over the next 10 or 20 years with Russia and IRan trying to target european and American military and oil facilities at a greater and greater rate.

So, unless the U.S. expands it's LUCAS program very quickly Europe and the U.S. are in danger of being overrun with these types of Drones from Russia and Iran over time. Because of the cost effectiveness of these drones and the fact that they can be assembled and then sent 1000 miles immediately this has completely changed world Warfare for good into something quite horrific!

LUCAS: Scaling the Drone War - Defense Security Monitor
The Low-cost Uncrewed (Unmanned) Combat Attack System (LUCAS) is a U.S.-developed "kamikaze" drone, costing roughly $35,000, designed to counter Iranian saturation attacks. Developed by SpektreWorks following a surge in Iranian threats, it acts as a reverse-engineered,, more technologically advanced equivalent to the Shahed-136.
Key Features and Capabilities:
  • Cost-Efficient Countermeasure: At ~$35,000 per unit, LUCAS provides a cost-effective alternative to multimillion-dollar defense missiles.
  • Improved Guidance: Unlike the basic guidance of its Iranian counterpart, LUCAS utilizes encrypted, military-grade GPS and advanced optical terrain mapping, making it highly resistant to jamming.
  • Performance Metrics: The drone has a 9-foot-8-inch wingspan, a 40 lb explosive payload, and operates over long ranges, capable of being launched from ships or ground systems.
  • Combat Integration: Deployed under Task Force Scorpion Strike, these drones are a response to the need for faster acquisition of low-cost autonomous weapons.

LUCAS represents a crucial pivot by the U.S. military to adopt "swarm" tactics and low-cost, high-volume production in response to the asymmetric threat posed by Iranian-backed forces.
