I'm already finding gender neutral bathrooms many or most places in California and Oregon
As I travel from California to Oregon and back often I have to use a bathroom at a Starbucks or a gas station or restaurant and I find that almost everywhere these days bathrooms are going more and more gender neutral so they have less social problems that come up. There is also a tendency to make a bathroom only have room enough for one person in it which also prevents problems of a man being in a woman's bathroom or vice versa more too. This just prevents all businesses from getting sued in various ways by people of different points of view. So, it is about money more than anything else that causes this change most places now.
