Surviving the next 6 months to one year on planet earth

In the past I would have said you need to be in the U.S. for your best chances of survival before Trump. But, since Trump maybe your best place for survival on earth might be:

the European Union specifically in places like Germany or France instead of the U.S.

However, if you have grown up in the U.S. you might be safer here because you know how things work here (or did work before Trump destroyed our government). I found myself lost for example, trying to negotiate how anything worked at all the first time I went to S. Korea, for example, and when I went to Germany, and rented a motorhome and drove a part of my family through Germany, Austria, Switzerland and northern Italy and back to Germany to return the motorhome before flying back to England and London for another week there with my mother while she was still alive then and my then 10 year old daughter after having left my then 25 year old son and his recently graduated from UCSC best friend at that time.

So, if you are familiar with Germany and France and know how to navigate there likely you could be safer there than anywhere else on earth that I can think of right now.

However, if you are in Russia or China or Brazil, those are likely the worst places to be with the exception of all of South America and All of Africa and the middle east and North Korea.

The countries I listed above are the most likely places where you are going to die for a variety of reasons during the next 6 months to a year.

Also, you need to have (once you are settled in one location) about 6 months of non-perishable foods (which you can supplement with fresh food IF they are available).

So, the two things I'm considering here are food and water (as one thing) that is eatable safe and potable) and your personal safety.

However, I'm not considering what is going to keep you sane too. I figure you are perfectly capable of figuring that out for yourselves.

But, the bad things we all worried about are already starting now worldwide, unfortunately. They didn't wait for the fall which is very very bad news indeed.

So, if you get your flu shot as soon as it is available it might prevent you from getting coronavirus and the flu and then dying of both this winter sometime.
