Basically, what happened to Phil Robertson of Duck dynasty is the exact opposite of what happened to people during the McCarthy Era who lost their careers because they were too liberal. Today, if you are a Bible Belt Conservative or Evangelical you are being discriminated against in the opposite ways of how liberals were sent to prison, lost their careers and had their lives destroyed in the U.S. in the 1950s because of McCarthyism.
There really is no difference at all in how people's lives are being destroyed because of a point of view they have. And corporations and National Media help to create this effect of people's lives being destroyed by their points of view.
I'm not really sure why people don't realize that destroying people's lives and livelihood is evil whether it is done because people are too liberal or too Conservative?
What has happened to the time in the U.S. when you could have ANY point of view and expect your life not to be ended by that point of view?
Where are the freedoms we all used to believe in for everyone and not just one group or one point of view?
I suppose one view is historically first one extreme and is killed and dies and goes to prison and then 50 years later the other extreme has their lives destroyed, careers ended and goes to prison. Maybe historically this is the best way to look at this. What goes around comes around.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
