My two daughters just walked into the bedroom where I was blogging while sitting up in bed from my laptop. They handed me what I thought was a hand made happy Father's day card which I thought was very sweet. But, what it contained was so funny I have to share what it contained. Here are the quips:
Happy Father's Day to someone who inexplicably loves signing his name in each of his text messages.
(from my two daughters one 25 and one 18)
Dad, Thanks for always helping me out financially so I can focus on being an independent woman.
Dad, thanks for giving me just enough emotional baggage to be in a creative field but not enough to be a prostitute.
You're the world's greatest Dad but my frame of reference is limited.
I hope your Father's Day is even more relaxing than every other day of your highly sedentary existence.
Dad, thanks for teaching me to ride a bike without performance-enhancing drugs.
Happy Father's Day from your little mistake
Happy You-Knocked-up-Mom-Day!
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
