Weather in Mt. Shasta
When I first arrived a few days ago it was about 91 degrees Fahrenheit in Mt. Shasta. Since then it has been markedly colder and more windy. For example, it is only 66 degrees at 4:20 pm on Friday. I wanted to drive south today home but my wife really wanted one more day without me there. She is sort of freaking out from having her knee replacement surgery in the next two weeks, my youngest daughter just having graduated high school and going off to college in the fall, my older daughter coming down from Portland for a Language summer intensive at a Good college near us, my son just make both her and I grandparents, you name it. So, I actually understand how she feels because I'm going through all of it too. But, if you are going to be stuck some place for another day I can't think of a better one right now than Mt. Shasta which is my spiritual home here on earth just like other people have other spiritual homes. No matter where i have lived or visited around the world always since I was 5 years old I could come home to MT. Shasta my spiritual home for about 61 years now.
