I can't quote any more than this because of the way the software is programmed. However, it think this is an important article because only science right now might defeat Ebola.
Praying I don't think is going to do it at this point. When I was growing up my parents were ministers and I watched many people die who didn't believe in doctors in the 1950s. Because people were similar to Christian Science beliefs where doctors are not called. Luckily, my Mom and Dad were more practical than that and my Dad was valedictorian of his senior high School Class. But, that didn't mean I didn't watch many people die who didn't believe in Medical Doctors and as a child there was nothing I could do about it then.
In some ways what I experienced in the 1950s is why so many are dying of Ebola now in Africa because their cultural and religious beliefs are killing them.
This could happen to among people who are so convinced that God is going to save them here in this country as well who don't believe in Science. Well, with Ebola maybe he will and maybe he won't even in this country.
Your best bet is plasma from someone who has survived Ebola if you get it in this country at this point because they have the right antibodies to keep you alive. Everyone who has survived here in the U.S. got plasma from an Ebola survivor. That's the main reason why they didn't die.
My father didn't have that much faith in Medical Doctors either and when he got Prostate Cancer he didn't act fast enough and eventually died form complications of prostate cancer that then morphed into bone cancer after they removed his prostate, his bladder and one of his kidneys.
So, Ebola like with Cancer if you don't move quickly with medical treatments you soon are dead.
