Fire Alarm?

As I am writing this for you I am listening for the third time this last hour a male voice obviously recorded saying, "May I have your attention please(3 times loud) There has been a fire on your floor. PLease proceed to the stairwell and go down to the ground floor and exit the building."

The problem is we did this about an hour ago now the last time we heard this. So, my wife in her nightgown and a rain coat and a wool hat and I with my computer backpack with my computer and Ipad in it walked downstairs (I had all my clothes on because I already knew it was mostly bogus. However, we did see water on the way back up on the 6th and 7th floors as the sprinklers must have gone off so we reported it to the front desk so people won't slip and fall and hurt themselves because there might be damage from the water some places in the hotel. The only problem is my my wife is recovering from knee replacement surgery from June. So, going down about 10 floors by stairs is a lot of work for her. It's not much for me but it is for her. Then we wait about 1/2 an hour or 3/4 of an hour while firemen are walking by with oxygen tanks on them. Finally, I notice people starting to go upstairs again and I walk over to people in authority like Police and Firemen and ask them if we can return to our room there in Seattle. So then we walk up many many flights of stairs until we arrive at our room. Now twice more this voice is telling us to leave our room and walk downstairs. So, we call again and they say they are just trying to reset it for a real fire whenever or if that ever happens. So, this is our night in Seattle after flying up here today and arriving about 3pm. By the way the temperature my wife got to walk outside in her nightgown and raincoat was 35 degrees Fahrenheit. Luckily, while she was yelling at me to leave the room I got my wallet and room key, and computer and Ipad and put them in my backpack, got socks and shoes on  and put my pants on and got my pendleton wool shirt and warm ski jacket because I didn't know how long we were going to be outside in near freezing temperatures and didn't want my wallet room key, Iphone,  lap top computer, Ipad and anything else electronic to burn up in the fire if there was one. Then I walked down many many flights of stairs with my wife.
