The reason it is relative is that the past, present and future is constantly changing. The picture people get while studying science in school is not accurate to what time actually is in that the past, present and future because all three are constantly changing.
This is not obvious because each of our lives are "Set in Stone" so to speak by our memories of our lives.
However, this has nothing at all to do with how time changes in the past, present or future. This is only our memory of our own personal timeline and not what happens to the total timeline around us in the past, present and future.
So, seeing life in this relativistic way I find very helpful in making more sense of everything because it is the way things are. Our memories are our own experiences which are our memories. However, this has nothing at all to do with other experiences other people are having all the time and other beings are having as insects, birds, animals, fish etc. or even trees, flowers and plants as well as other types of lifeforms humans haven't fully understood yet like planets, stars, nebula and galaxies.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
