As the numbers rise faster and faster it is always interesting to me. For me, working on this site is a meditation of sorts. I skim through many sources of information when I have the time to do this and when it is interesting for me to do this and I try to give you want I sense to be important for you to know about or what I'm interested in. This seems to be a winning formula for helping people get information that they want and need. This filtering process and making people aware of problems they might face at home or around the world I believe is very helpful in keeping civilization functioning better worldwide.

Often news programs on TV only focus on one large event and other important events get lost in the shuffle that are often happening around the world. I try to give information so people can know more what is happening worldwide. However, I do find myself getting more and more discouraged and burnt out from reporting stuff out of the middle East because it seems like it is a never ending mess that is just getting worse and worse.

But, that likely is to be expected as countries are beset with not enough food, no safety nets, no jobs for those under 40 (60% of the people in the middle east are in this situation now) etc. So, the dynamics in the Middle East are sure to get worse until populations go down to a level that the land and potable water can bear.

So, a good way to put this is that if birth control started happening in the middle east starting around 1960 or so, none of this would be happening right now there.

What is happening in the middle east can happen anywhere populations are out of control and no one can find jobs or food or water. This is something for all of us to think about.

This is one reason why all developed and educated nations are at or below zero population growth and this helps prevent there what is now happening in the Middle East.

So, thanks for sharing some or all of my interests. Have a Great Day!
