I went with my daughter and two other friends to the Friday Evening version of the "I AM" Pageant in Mt. Shasta on McCloud Avenue. Though I had grow up being in the pageant in the children's scene, the boy Jesus and as Violet Flame Angel starting when I was 15 and as Archangel Gabriel who zaps the tomb to resurrect Jesus to move the stone back from his tomb and also at 21 I was an "Angel of Promise."
But, the last 20 years I haven't visited the pageant since my youngest daughter was a baby likely around 1996.
So, This time it was a completely different experience for me. Everyone I knew in the pageant pretty much is either dead or retired from it at this point. 50 years will have passed since the organization and I parted ways in 1969 as of 2019.
So, for me, this was amazing because I could relate the most to Jesus healing everyone and bringing people back to life and him making his Ascension through pretty good special effects. So, I was left with a very amazing good feeling about the whole thing. I realized I was raised in a religion that was like being inside an egg. Then I broke out of the egg like a chick becoming a bird and I flew away to my spiritual adventures all over the world. So, in some ways coming back now is coming full circle to where my life all began. But, most of the people don't recognize me and I don't recognize them and that's okay.
God showed me what he wanted to show me and I was able to bring my oldest daughter who could really appreciate all this at this point in her life.
