If you are watching CNN you are seeing the children being wounded and killed by Russian Airstrikes ongoing. There is no way to separate civilians and Anti-Assad rebel sites and ISIS sites. So, you are going to see a whole lot of children bloody in the coming weeks and months on TV on CNN, MSNBC and Fox and other TV news sources. It is inevitable because often rebels and ISIS live in communities so if the Russians want to kill rebels or if the IRanians want to kill ISIS 3/4 of the people they are going to be killing are women and children.
This is not acceptable to the U.S. military or to NATO. But, it is likely that everyone where Syria rebels or ISIS is is going to be dead that doesn't run away now to Turkey or Jordan or to the sea including women and children. IF it wasn't a complete bloodbath before it is now and likely will continue that way for at the very least weeks or months.
Iranians, Syrians, Hezbollah are going to be dying by the thousands for some time now. And it is possible that (At least in Syria) both ISIS and the Syrian rebels who want to overthrow Assad will be mostly wiped out in the next few months in this Russian and Iranian military organized push.
