Technological Singularity and the Butterfly effect

Most of you who have read articles at this site know what a Technological Singularity is:

I was thinking about how what we are presently witnessing regarding Apple and the San Bernadino Terrorist Iphone that someone changed the ID on so the government cannot open the information they need so Apple might go out of business if they actually give the information they need to the government.

Here we have a potential "Butterfly Effect" that will be common as we enter deeper into the Technological Singularity.

So, here is the butterfly effect of a Technological Singularity in action that we all can now observe.

What do we have here?

We have Trump telling his supporters to Boycott Apple.

Because his supporters are not Techs who would know this only is going to put Apple potentially out of business. Maybe Trump doesn't like Apple in the first place. Who knows about this?

Then we have Silicon Valley people who have studied or worked there like myself (I studied Computer Network Engineering there at Wave Technologies) which is a post grad type of school for Technologists in Silicon valley or at least did in the 1990s when the Internet was new.

So, people who actually UNDERSTAND how technology like smartphones work like myself and how the internet works and understand how GPS works in making cellphone calls and how all this interrelates to create the INternet, cell phones and smartphones would likely support Apple in this problem they are having with the government because they want Apple smartphones and Android smartphones to continue to exist and don't want all these companies to go out of business.

But, then you have 75 to 80% of the public who understands none of this which might be Trump supporters or anything else.

So, now you have a potential butterfly effect that might destroy ALL smartphone technology on earth.

So, this has given me the idea that there have been other times humans have reached this pinnacle of technological achievement in the past, only to have been toppled by the ignorant masses before. So, it's making my ICE AGE scenario where technological civilizations like our own have been destroyed multiple times here on earth far more plausible scientifically speaking.

Because right now we are beginning to prove the potential for technological collapse right along with technological singularity.

In other words it could go either way: Either into and Ice age where all technology disappears or it could go into a place where we evolve and move to other planets or anything in between.
