These two articles are paradoxical but true

As the Poles Melt

Global warming and Ice Ages are directly related

You might ask me how do the poles melt and we go into an ice age at the same time?

I cannot answer this question simply because humans have never observed this phenomenon personally before unless they are time travelers and went back in time to make observations during the last really big ice age.

So, theoretically speaking could both things happen at the same time?

Strangely enough the answer to this might be "Yes".

However, I'm not certain the dynamics of how all this would go down.

First of all regarding the North Pole, all you need is temperatures long enough (during any time of the year (that range from 33 to 40 degreees Fahrenheit) and the North Pole will completely melt out.

It seems like when the North pole completely melted out this December 2015 it was only about 40 to 50 degreees Fahrenheit to completely melt out. and this was caused by a storm that came up there from the East Coast of the U.S. after traveling across the whole country coming off the Pacific ocean.

So, will we see the north pole and south pole melt off or will we see an ice age first?

I'm thinking the north and south pole are more likely to melt off first. But I could be wrong.

After all, The North pole already melted out once in December.

Within a few years a melted out north pole is going to be normal for at least a week or two at a time winter or summer.
