I have written about this too. First of all, more white Republicans are dying every day than are being replaced by new young Republicans. In fact, Young people whose Parents are Republicans traditionally become Democrats until 35 to 45 and become successful in business. So, the combination has taken away the capacity for White Republicans to EVER win a Presidential election ever again just from pure demographics alone.
I suppose someone like Trump who is not a conservative Republican but rather a "Shoot From the Hip" Populist and Billionaire might win more likely than anyone else for a variety of reasons. But, like another Article was quoted today "Hillary today has a 76% chance of becoming president as of today". And though Pence plays to the Republican Conservative Base this also means the average American will be much less likely to vote for Trump because of Pence because "God Help us if an Anti-LGBT and Anti-Abortion activist ever became president.
At this point the Republican party is at the very least 50 to 60 years behind the times here in the U.S. I would say their stance would be normal just after World War II but not since the 1950s
So, with all this is Bush the last Republican President there will ever be?
This is quite likely at present because more White Republicans are dying than are being born.
And what is a Republican if he or she isn't white? For example, only 1% of Republicans are black at most. The rest vote Democratic. Think about it.

Report: Bush worried he would be 'last Republican president'
Getty ImagesFormer President George W. Bush in April privately revealed his concerns that Donald Trump could permanently bring down the Republican Party, according to a new report.
“I’m worried that I will be the last Republican president,” Bush said at a reunion for his administration in Dallas, Politico Magazine reported Tuesday morning. Most members of the Bush family have been outspoken critics of Trump.ADVERTISEMENT
Bush and his father, former President George H.W. Bush, both skipped the Republican National Convention in Cleveland this year, and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush said he would not vote for Trump in the presidential election.
Jeb Bush was the early favorite last year to win the Republican nomination, and Trump seemed to especially delight in tearing into Bush as he raced past him in the polls en route to clinching the nomination. Trump also blamed George W. Bush's administration for the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Bob Dole is the only living former GOP presidential nominee to attend this week's convention. In addition to the Bushes, 2008 nominee John McCain and 2012 nominee Mitt Romney are both staying home.
