We have seen this all across the U.S. so far. If you look at statistics of where Guns are prohibited in places like Chicago you see many more burglaries, homicides and crimes because criminals know that "Law Abiding citizens" cannot protect themselves because often the police are 1/2 hour to 1 hour away. So, law abiding citizens who obey the law are often shot or raped or mugged by criminals with guns especially in those areas where criminals know Guns aren't allowed.
So, living where a gun is allowed for your protection (even if you don't have a gun) makes your life much much safer because Law abiding citizens have the right to own guns there.
Terrorists have had a field day in places like France where no one is allowed to own a gun, only law enforcement.
So, having the right to own a gun (even if you don't) in that area protects you from harm.
Personally, I think a smart phone or cell phone is almost as good as having a gun on your person for protection. This is my thought for a variety of reasons as well.
One reason there are so few terrorist acts here in the U.S. is Americans shoot back because there are many more privately owned guns here than there are people in the U.S.
Texas demonstrates what criminals and terrorists face from an armed populace now here in the U.S.
Because a neighbor of the church shot the perpetrator which helped the perpetrator to die more quickly. So, if the law doesn't get you a citizen will most places now in the U.S. if you are a criminal shooting people.
And the neighbor of the church was taking a nap and shot the guy while the neighbor was barefoot with his AR-15.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
