Mentally ill people likely are never going to stop shooting people

Whether they shoot people with firearms or lasers or crossbows or whatever. It likely is never going to stop whether any weapon is legal or illegal. So, unless some way is found to keep weapons from knives to clubs to bare hands to spears to machetes to AR-15s like in this shooting of a church (the last one was in late September 2017 by the way) these kinds of things are going to keep happening and no amount of making weapons illegal is going to stop it. This man defeated the gun laws by lying on the forms and there was nothing in his records to be found to stop them from giving him a weapon even though he had spent 1 year in jail in the air force for beating up his wife and fracturing the skull of his step son who was likely a toddler then.
