If the rate of rain is over 1/2" an hour it will create mudslides in Montecito and other areas in Southern California

Some of our friends have had to evacuate their homes 4 or 5 times now and likely more before the rainy season is over.

This is the worst storm to hit this area with a bulls eye since the really big one in January killed so many from mudslides. Other storms mostly have bypassed the area or hit with nominal rain. But, this one could be devastating according to The Weather Channel for Santa Barbara County, Ventura County and San Luis Obispo.(and any areas in southern California who have big burn scars from all the fires especially the huge Thomas fire.
