Maybe it was because he was black and grew up in a brothel or something like that. But, Richard Pryor broke through barriers simply because he was brave enough to do this. Some would say "At great cost to himself in many ways" but, never the less he did this and all of us should be grateful to him for the increased honesty in humor all over today because of him and all the others who sacrificed almost everything for more honesty in humor here in the U.S. and around the world.
Without enough honesty in all our lives "The people perish" worldwide.
