It's very likely that the House will impeach Trump eventually but unlikely it will be ratified by the Senate for a variety of reasons. However, it might be really important because of the criminal way Trump has behaved all along that he at least be chastised for his lying criminal behavior even if he isn't impeached by the Senate too. It is important to discourage other criminal presidents like this one from thinking they are "Above the Law" too. Otherwise, we will eventually have a Maduro situation like in Venezuela here too at some point in another presidency (or even this one) in the future.
A President has to be limited by the separation of Powers by the Legislative and Judicial branch so he doesn't become a complete dictator like Maduro or Hitler and permanently end our democracy like Hitler and Maduro did in their countries.
