Before I talked to my friend about his Haibike:
https://www.electricbikelounge.com/products/e-mojo-wildcat-48v-electric-fat-bike?variant=22543377006673
It's a fat tire for riding on the beach in the sand if you want electric bike which is 48 volts with a 330 pound weight limit. What I was looking for was something that I could ride anywhere charge it up and ride it some more and put it in my truck to haul places and ride also at beautiful locations at the beach or mountains or in the desert when I'm traveling by car.
Another option I'm thinking about more is that I haven't ridden an electric bike even though I have been riding motorized 2 wheel vehicles since I was about 10 or 12 years old is to rent a few to see which ones I like the best. They rent Fat tire beach electrics near where I live near SF so that is likely what I'll do first. It is probably the same principle with no sound from a gas engine I'm thinking. The hardest things to get used to when switching to a powered two wheel vehicle is how it handles when you first apply power to the rear wheel. So, if you have only ridden non-electric bicycles before be careful as you apply power for the first time to the rear wheel because it is very different on a two wheel vehicle than with a car that has 4 wheels or a truck.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
