No.
However, the other side of all this is that it was inevitable this century anyway that the U.S. confronted China over stealing so much from us. So, by being as crazy as Trump has always has been it's also possible that he saved the U.S. long term from disaster.
Though it's true Trump is the real disaster, letting China continue to steal our inventions and patents ongoing was like them draining us of all our future blood on day at a time. So, by cutting the bloodletting of all our inventions it might be painful for the poorest of our shoppers but also might have saved the nation long term the rest of this century.
It's sort of like 1/2 of the Descartes saying: "There is nothing so bad that no good may come of it."
Full saying: "There is nothing so good that no bad may come of it and nothing so bad that no good may come of it."
As an adult I find at least in regard to living here on earth that often (if not always) this is true.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
