Many Gas, diesel and Electric cars are connected to the Internet (at least when they are being driven) and this means that hacking could occur with someone taking over the wheel or brakes or acceleration of your vehicle. Just because you don't know about this in relation to your car doesn't mean it isn't or couldn't happen to you where your whole family could be injured or die suddenly from someone hacking one of your vehicles. So, this unintended acceleration could be a way for anyone to get rid of anyone or family without being found out necessarily because it might not be talked about because of the liability of companies to hide this kind of information from drivers and owners of cars (whatever the cars or trucks or semis might be) (whatever brand name they might be).
So, if someone you know dies or is injured in a car from "unintended acceleration" you might want to keep that car so it can be investigated if this was malicious hacking rather than giving it to the insurance company to send into a metal compactor. Because once that happens this kind of thing couldn't be investigated properly for a variety of reasons. Even with whatever is left of the vehicle you still might not be able to know for sure these days until car internet equipment is better designed than now that might allow you to find out what actually happened.
