We went to see "Dolittle" this week
It's mostly a kid movie that they might enjoy to see the animals talk and have adventures together. My wife enjoyed it because I read the Dr. Dolittle Books myself as a child between ages 8 and 10 years of age just before I started reading Heinlein and Asimov by age 10. But, it is a fun movie regarding speaking to animals and adventures on a big schooner at sea and on islands and stuff like that. Also between 8 and 10 I read the Adventures of Freddy the Pig by another article which also reminded me a lot of the Dr. Dolittle Series.
